Mother's Day

Mother's Day was very fun and bittersweet. Joshua and I went with some friends from our church to our annual Mother's Day picnic. Funtimes to relax and enjoy the summer-like weather. It sure was hot. However, JD and I missed Buddy so much. It would have been a spectacular day with him there. Buddy called and had the sweetest message for me about being a mother and how I was so good at it. And that made my world!

I absolutely love being a mother. It is one of the craziest, funniest, most challenging, and rewarding experience I have ever had. There are definitely no words that can describe the lifestyle of a mother. But I am telling you that having a family, being a wife and a mom means everything to me. My boys are so awesome and I am so thankful that I can love and care for them! All I know is that when both of their big blue eyes look my way my heart completely melts and I fall more in love with both of them. And that feeling is totally indescribable!
